	<dc:description xml:lang="en-US">A triphenylcyclopropenium salt paired with hydroxytris(pentafluorophenyl)borate counter ion was synthesized as an initiator for cationic polymerization and its activity was compared with triphenylcyclopropenium hexafluoroantimonate. Triphenylcyclopropenium hydroxytris (pentafluorophenyl)borate exhibits excellent activity as a room temperature thermal initiator for epoxide polymerization under solvent free conditions, due to excellent solubility in epoxy resins.</dc:description>
